jars, lids, shrink bands, labels/packaging, and food/cosmetic ingredients (herbs, oils,

vinegars, salts, honey, etc.).

• Maintain approved-vendor list with pricing, Minimum Order Quantities, and lead times;

request quotes and negotiate where appropriate.

• Monitor on-hand and on-order quantities; with a mindfulness for seasonal product

• Perform monthly counts and monthly reconciliations; investigate and correct variances.• Keep storage areas clean, labeled, and compliant; ensure price/label accuracy on

finished goods.

Production – Food, Tea, Bath/Body

• Execute and/or lead small batch runs per HH recipes

• Operate filling, capping, and labeling processes; verify label correctness (ingredients,

allergens, net weight).

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, and allergen-control basics;

maintain logs (cleaning, temp as applicable).

• Coordinate with Hollie on production schedule to meet demand for classes, tastings,

holidays, and wholesale/retail needs.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

• Hold a valid California Food Handler Card (or obtain within 30 days).

• Follow county health department requirements for retail food operations; escalate

issues promptly.

• Ensure workspace is clean and sanitary, make sure equipment is running properly,

stored safely, and in clean, good working order.

Store Operations Support

• Assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and customer service during peak periods

as needed.

• Communicate low-stock and best sellers from the floor to inform procurement and

production priorities.

Administration & Reporting

• Update inventory system with Hollie weekly.

• Provide a simple weekly dashboard visible to staff (whiteboard).

• Surface risks early (supply delays, cost spikes, yield issues) with suggested mitigations.

Qualifications

• 5+ year in purchasing, inventory, production, or specialty food/cosmetic making or

related experience; retail back‑of‑house experience a plus.

• Canva/label layout edits and familiarity with ingredient statements

• Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable with spreadsheet; basic math and unit

conversions.

• Hands‑on maker: weighing, mixing, hot‑fill/cold‑fill basics, capping/labeling with care

and consistency.

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (cases of jars/ingredients) and stand for extended periods.

• Experience with POS/inventory tools.

Schedule, Compensation & Perks

• 3–4 shifts/week with at least one production‑focused shift; evenings/weekends as

needed before events and holidays.

• Starting pay: $28 per hour; employee discount; opportunity to add hours seasonally.
