The Neighborhood Traffic Monitor helps Branson uphold its commitments under the Town of Ross Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and Transportation Demand Management Plan (TDMP) by supporting safe, orderly, and courteous traffic flow on streets surrounding campus during arrival and dismissal periods. Monitors combine active observation of driver behavior in the neighborhood, and serve as a visible, friendly point of contact between Branson and its neighbors. This role directly supports Branson's pledge to the Town of Ross and neighboring residents to keep campus traffic net-neutral and to operate as a considerate, compliant neighbor.
Branson's ability to operate and grow in Ross depends on maintaining the net-neutral traffic commitment made to the Town of Ross under its amended CUP and TDMP. Traffic Monitors are a highly visible part of how Branson delivers on that promise - keeping students and neighbors safe, holding the community accountable to shared traffic expectations, and reinforcing Branson's reputation as a responsible, considerate neighbor.
