Material Handler / Inventory AssociateWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Inventory Associate to support warehouse, inventory, and production operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, staged, and delivered to support manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and working within a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with inventory reconciliation activities and annual physical inventory counts.Pick, stage, and issue materials to support production and manufacturing operations.Process material transfers, returns, and inventory transactions while maintaining accuracy and traceability.Receive, inspect, store, and distribute incoming materials and supplies.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.Maintain organized inventory locations and ensure accurate inventory records.Support shipping, receiving, packaging, and general warehouse activities.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.4+ years of warehouse, inventory, material handling, or related experience.Experience with shipping & receiving, inventory management, and material movement processes.Ability to read and follow written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.Comfortable using computers, ERP systems, warehouse management software, and handheld scanners.Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of materials.Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials as needed.Preferred SkillsMaterial HandlingInventory ControlShipping & ReceivingPackaging & PackingProduction SupportWarehouse OperationsERP/Warehouse Management SystemsCycle Counting & Inventory ReconciliationJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
