Warehouse Manager

Location: Berkeley, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Overtime & Weekends as needed
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (DOE)
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory control, receiving, shipping, storage, material handling, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and material disposition.

• Oversee receiving, inspection, and documentation of inbound shipments.

• Ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments, including shipping documentation.

• Maintain organized warehouse storage and maximize space utilization.

• Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff.

• Process employee timecards and maintain workforce accountability.

• Enforce safety procedures and oversee forklift and material handling equipment operations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environment.

• Partner with Procurement, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve inventory and shipping issues.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in food manufacturing.

• Experience with inventory management systems; NetSuite preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

• NetSuite experience.

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $85.00 per year
