Location: San Francisco, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (Onsite) Employment Type: Temporary (6-Month Assignment) Pay Rate: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

This role is ideal for a highly organized, service-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, managing communications, and supporting mission-driven initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support for engagement programs, events, communications, board activities, and office operations. We are seeking someone who is professional, detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support team.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing programs, events, and engagement activities.
  • Support communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, and outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and monitoring across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain and update constituent records within the organization's database.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, and other administrative documents.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and board-related activities, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up communications.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for volunteers, donors, and community partners.
  • Support general office operations, including administrative projects, filing, and supply management.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative, office support, customer service, or related experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with event planning, social media management, database maintenance, or CRM systems is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting higher education, nonprofit, membership-based organizations, or relations programs is a plus.
