Barback/Busperson, Extra List (On-Call) - InterContinental San Francisco

Assist servers and bartenders in cultivating memorable food & beverage for our guests.

Every day is different but mostly you'll be:

• Assist restaurant servers in providing quality food and beverage service to guests; maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment; stock all wares and equipment needed for service in accordance with hotel standards and established InterContinental policies and procedures.
• Assist Bartenders and Cocktail Servers; stock bars with designated supplies, ensuring no shortages for guest service; and maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, in accordance with hotel standards and established InterContinental policies and procedures.

What we need from you:

• A minimum of one year experience in the same or similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment.
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math
• Compliance with local laws on food handling
• Great communication – you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to

What we offer:

The hourly pay range for this role is $20.325 to $27.10.
