The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary. We are looking for a polished professional who takes his or her work seriously and values meticulous accuracy in every endeavorJob DetailsLocation: San Francisco, CAJob Level: Entry LevelSalaryEmployment Type: Full-TimePosted: June 16, 2021Job DutiesReview and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletionsMaintain and update inventory recordsDevelop and implement efficient inventory management proceduresReconcile inventory discrepanciesReport any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessaryPrepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable productsConduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely executionSchedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict recordsOversee and evaluate stock rotation proceduresMaintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventoryMaintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basisCreate an efficient space utilization planNotify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availabilityInstruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventoryCheck bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipmentKnowledge and SkillsClerical Skills: Inventory Associate need to know how to type, file and keep accurate records.Communication Skills: Inventory associate communicate with co-workers, the home office, and others to make sure that accurate records are being made of inventoryAttention to Detail: Accuracy counts.
