ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Alameda, CA. Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our industrial automation and factory-control distribution center. This role is ideal for the person who thrives on organization, precision, and systems-thinking-someone who approaches inventory management with the care and structure of a librarian rather than a traditional warehouse worker. Our facilities contain thousands of industrial automation components. Success in this role depends on maintaining order, accuracy, and accessibility across a complex and ever-growing catalog of new and repurposed parts. Key Responsibilities:Organize, catalog and maintain inventory with a high degree of accuracy and consistencyEnsure every item is properly labeled, documented, and traceable within inventory systemsParticipate in light warehouse duties such as part retrieval and preparationCollaborate with other team members to meet strict daily shipping deadlinesThis is not a typical warehouse role. While the position is based in a distribution center, the focus is on precision, organization, and system integrity rather than physical labor or equipment operation.
