Position Summary

The Dispatchable Field Service Representative plays a mission-critical role in supporting customer operations through hands-on operation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial water treatment systems. This position supports a wide range of technologies, including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), deoxygenation, electro-deionization (EDI), and ultrafiltration (UF). The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting capability, and the ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

??Perform mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, compressors, pumps, blowers, ejectors, and instrumentation

??Operate, monitor, and optimize water treatment systems to ensure performance and contract compliance

??Conduct preventive maintenance, system calibrations, and equipment inspections

??Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems and inventories

??Perform routine and advanced analytical testing, including turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific parameters

??Review customer installations against reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangements)

??Maintain accurate site documentation and provide detailed technical service reports to customers

??Manage spare parts, chemical supplies, and replacement components

??Consult with customer operations and management teams, providing technical guidance and informal training

??Ensure compliance with volume, quality, and contractual specifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

??Strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting skills

??Ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating with project teams

??Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills

??Customer-focused mindset with clear written and verbal communication abilities

??Working knowledge of basic chemistry and water quality parameters

??Proven problem-solving and analytical skills

Education & Experience

??High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

??Minimum of 2 years of service, maintenance, or industrial operations experience

??Valid driver's license

Preferred:

??Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field

??Technical certification in instrumentation or a related discipline
