Dietary Cook Opportunity at San Bruno Skilled Nursing

San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. We are currently hiring for AM and PM shifts, including weekend availability.

Position Details

Schedule:

• AM Shift
• PM Shift
• Weekend availability required

Pay Rate: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to standardized recipes
• Cook and prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident-specific needs
• Inspect ingredients for freshness, quality, and dietary compliance
• Plate, arrange, and garnish meals appropriately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, dietary, or food service experience preferred
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
