Junior Small Business and Compliance Officer

The Junior Small Business Liaison and Compliance Officer (Junior SBLO) will support all Dutra divisions in ensuring compliance with applicable Small Business Program requirements and Project Compliance responsibilities for all Dutra branches under the direction and training of the Small Business & Compliance Officer. This position performs a broad range of administrative, compliance, outreach, and documentation duties in support of small business subcontracting goals on bids and project set-up compliance for active/awarded projects. The Junior SBLO will work closely with Estimating, Purchasing, and Operations to assist with project compliance requirements (e.g. SOS/business licenses, apprenticeship filings, and preliminary notice filings), maintain accurate records, support Good Faith Efforts, assist purchasing with finding vendors, and promote meaningful small business participation in accordance with federal, state, port, city, and county program requirements.
