responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using intermediate to advanced Python.
• Implement a strict Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach to ensure maximum code reliability and performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug complex software issues across existing application frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to automate critical workflows and integrate modern development methodologies.

qualifications:

Extensive experience (5-6 years) in professional Python development and application delivery.

Strong core foundations in computer science, specifically advanced knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Demonstrated experience utilizing a TDD approach within software development lifecycles.

Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

Prior experience within top-tier enterprise tech environments (e.g., Google stack ecosystems) is highly preferred.

Must be local to the Bay Area and able to work full-time on-site.
