About the Role

We are seeking a warm, dependable caregiver to provide respectful in-home support for a 93-year-old male in Berkeley. This role is focused on morning and evening personal care assistance, dressing, and mealtime support on Saturdays and Sundays. We are looking for someone who is experienced, professional, and attentive to comfort, routine, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with getting out of bed
• Help with dressing
• Provide diaper changes
• Serve breakfast, including coffee, milk, cereal, and juice
• Serve dinner prepared by the wife
• Assist with brushing teeth
• Help with dressing for bed

Schedule

Saturdays and Sundays
Morning shift: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Evening shift: 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Ideal Candidate

• Female caregiver preferred
• Prior caregiving experience
• Experience supporting visually impaired clients is a strong plus
• Should be comfortable working fragrance-free and not wearing perfume
