The Supplier Engineering Sr. Manager role is part of the Supplier Engineering and Technology team. SET is an organization that is innovative in manufacturing technology, materials and supply chain design. As a Supplier Engineering Sr. Manager, you will have a vital role within the Gas integration and Gas OEM spaces as well as the success of the overall team and commodity. We're looking for a Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. You should have 6-8 years of people management experience with 8 years of working in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry. Creative thinking and strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, including experience in the areas of gas delivery integration and OEM gas components are required. Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mass/momentum/heat transfer is also needed. You should have solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production setting. Experience in supplier process development & quality management is required. Understanding of failure analysis and problem solving is also needed. Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance is required. International & domestic travelling is required. Mechanical/fluid delivery system design, systems engineering, integration and customer fab knowledge are required. Solid understanding of various problem-solving methodologies to include 8-D/5 why is required. Project Management / Team Lead experience is required. Experience with working with global suppliers is required. Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required. Attention to details is required.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
Salary: CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $146,000 - Max $311,000.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
