Job Details: Location: Burlingame, California Specialty Name: EEG R (EEG Technologist Registered) Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities until 8:00 PM on weekdays and until 8:00 PM on weekends Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Certifications: ABRET certification; BLS required Consolidated Qualifications: Certification in EEG (ABRET), valid California State License (if applicable), and a minimum of 3 years of experience in EEG, neurodiagnostic procedures including routine EEG, long-term EEG, and EEG monitoring. Candidates should have experience with adult ICU, outpatient, ambulatory EEG, assist with EMG and nerve conduction studies, and perform procedures such as electrode placement, sleep EEG, seizure studies, and sleep-deprived EEG. Preferred Experience: Level 1 Trauma, neurodiagnostic equipment operation, and experience with specialized procedures such as auditory evoked potentials, brain death testing, and video monitoring. Additional Information: The role involves working in a busy healthcare environment with interdisciplinary support, performing complex neurodiagnostic procedures, and adhering to safety and compliance protocols.
