Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant in Oakland, CA - Are you a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant looking to make a difference in patients' lives? - Join a dynamic home health team and provide essential care in the beautiful areas of Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont, Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Union City! Position Highlights: - Minimum of 1 year of professional experience required. - Home health experience preferred. - Two work options: - Guaranteed Hours: 36-hour guarantee per week; must achieve 30 points weekly (specific visit types converting to points). - Non-Guaranteed Hours: Flexible schedule with the option to refuse patients, but no guaranteed hours. Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional care to patients in their homes. - Be open to weekend coverage and occasional travel outside your area to maintain a full caseload. - Comfortably see Covid and Covid Person Under Investigation (PUI) patients. Credential Requirements: - Current CA PTA License. - BLS certification. - Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance. - Auto Registration. - Annual TB test. - Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (10 years), Flu (annual). - Drug screening and physical examination. Additional Information: - All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upon submission. - Shift Information: Daytime shifts. - Holiday coverage may be required.
