The Assistant Property Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of The Dudley, an affordable housing community serving low-income families and individuals. Partnering closely with the Property Manager, this role helps ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a welcoming, resident-centered environment. This position is ideal for a housing professional who brings strong HUD and Tax Credit experience, a customer-service mindset, and the confidence to lead by example. This is an on-site position. The Dudley is an affordable housing community for low-income families and individuals. Pay: $28.63 -29.50/hour, dependent on experience. Duties include entering data in resident accounts receivable ledgers, assisting with resident records documentation, collecting rent and other income, making bank deposits, and forwarding receipts. Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in. Responds to customer service requests. May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in affordable housing. Preferred qualifications include one year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience, property management work experience, knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, knowledge of real estate property management applications, and LIHTC certification.
