As we expand into ground maintenance and other industrial applications, our expert team continues to address key challenges with labor shortages, sustainability, and profitability across various industries.About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic System Test Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for ensuring the continued success of Agtonomy's products as we scale our fleet of robots. You will coordinate with hardware, software, and operations teams to address weaknesses in our product and provide feedback for design improvements. This role will be based at Agtonomy's South San Francisco facility.This role requires working outdoors in varied weather conditions.What You'll Do Create, execute, and maintain system validation suites, feature tests, and regression testsBuild analytics for fault tracking and frequency to provide insight into software release readiness and current reliability of the physical fleetDefine and drive test automation and HIL simulation testingSupport customer operations, collect feedback, and resolve any technical issuesCalibrate and test new vehicles as part of assembly validationWork with developers to troubleshoot issues and release new featuresIdentify product issues by operating with a critical eye and knowledge of our systemsWrite detailed bug reports and document reproduction scenariosCreate reports and analyze datasets on product performance, reliability, and maintenanceDevelop and maintain test site infrastructureMonitor performance of deployed autonomous vehiclesTravel up to 25% to customer and other field sitesWhat You'll Bring Experience with integration and testing complex software and hardware systemsBachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in a professional and product-driven environment, or 8 years of professional experience integrating and testing complex systemsExperience working hands‑on with electrical and mechanical componentsExperience with issue & project tracking software (i.e., JIRA or Linear)Ability to communicate with customers in a professional mannerStrong communication skillsCuriosity to learn about new technologyWhat Makes You a Strong Fit Experience with agriculture, land maintenance, and heavy machineryAn understanding of electric vehicles and software testingAn understanding of networking technologyExperience or basic understanding of how permanent crops are grownAbility to drive a truck and trailer with heavy equipmentSalary: $100,000 - $140,000 a year plus equity, benefits, and unlimited PTO.Benefits 100% covered medical, dental, and vision for the employee (cost plus partner, children, or family is additional)Commuter benefitsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insuranceShort‑ and Long‑Term disability401k planStock optionsCollaborative work environment, working alongside passionate mission‑driven folksInterview Process Phone screen with People Operations (30 minutes)Video interview with the Hiring Manager (45 minutes)Panel interview (video interviews scheduled with key stakeholders, each interview will be 30 to 45 minutes)Final interviews (CEO, CFO, VP of Engineering, 30 minutes each)#J-18808-Ljbffr
