Vice President Asset Management (Multifamily)

A growing San Franciscobased real estate investment firm is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to lead the performance and strategy of a multifamily-focused portfolio in supply-constrained Bay Area markets. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to drive value creation across a diverse portfolio.

Role Overview

• Oversee multifamily (and select retail) assets, ensuring top-tier operational and financial performance
• Lead property management teams, vendors, and capital improvement initiatives
• Develop and execute value-add strategies to enhance NOI and long-term asset value
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance reporting
• Partner with senior leadership and investors on portfolio updates and strategy
• Mentor junior team members and strengthen internal processes

Qualifications

• 510+ years of real estate asset management experience (multifamily required)
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading value-add business plans and capital projects
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Compensation

• Total Cash Comp $250-350k plus LTIP/Equity
• Full benefits package (health, vision, dental, 401k match, PTO)
