As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, your work will be critical to enabling our audience of security and software engineers to understand the value of the Semgrep platform and its individual offerings. You'll bring new products and features to market, partnering closely with sales, and our product management, demand gen, and community teams.
By exercising your skills in differentiation and competitive messaging, you'll also help Semgrep's solutions stand out in the dynamic application security market. This role is a natural fit for someone with a technical foundationa computer science background, software engineering experience, or deep hands-on work with developer toolswho is energized by the market-facing side of building a product. It's what lets you write for engineers as someone who understands them, not someone who was briefed on them. Fluency with AI and the rapidly evolving AI-assisted development landscape is a significant advantage.
You might have a CS degree and spent time as a software engineer before discovering you're energized by product strategy and customer storytelling. Or you may have always been at the intersection of technical and business work, more interested in why customers buy than in shipping features. Either way, you can open a terminal, read a codebase, whip up a demo project, and then turn that hands-on understanding into messaging that resonates with both practitioners and executives. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and thrive in a market where the playbook is still being written.
