Warehouse Associate

We are currently hiring a Warehouse associate for a premier bakery in the San Leandro area. Our client offers long term employment opportunities including temporary to full time. Pay Rate: $23 Schedule: Monday -Friday 5am to 1:30pm Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Gather, record and report on warehouse accuracy and efficiency metrics, though manual or automated systems.
• Ability to understand and communicate written policies, quality, sanitation and safety standards.
• Comply with HACCP-plan and food safety requirements.
• Review warehouse documentation daily to include; forklift inspection sheets, receiving logs, and daily GMP walks for completion and accuracy.
• Enters data daily into PO Update and inventory tracking system accurately
• The Warehouse associate must understand their involvement towards Food Safety. They commit themselves to follow and adhere to GMP and Food Safety practices to comply with SQF and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements: Equipment/Software Skills: Computer skills desirable 2-3 years Experience in training and coaching members of a team Proficient with math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Ability to understand written and verbal policies and guidelines, specifications and safety standards. Experience in perishable warehouse operation or in a related area Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish Preferred)
