ANDAAZ is seeking a warm, detail-oriented Server & Hospitality Assistant to support our upcoming intimate Bengali fine dining experience on June 20th, 2026 in Oakland. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, food, storytelling, and creating meaningful guest experiences within a small-format, community-centered environment.

ANDAAZ is an intimate Bengali supper club exploring food as storytelling, memory, migration, and cultural exchange through thoughtfully curated tasting menus inspired by Bengali, Persian, and diasporic culinary traditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest arrival, seating, and hospitality throughout the evening

• Serve and clear dishes across a seven-course tasting menu

• Refill water and beverages and maintain table cleanliness

• Support light kitchen coordination and plating assistance as needed

• Help reset silverware, dishes, and tables between courses

• Maintain a calm, attentive, and welcoming atmosphere for guests

• Assist with event setup and cleanup before and after service

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, café, catering, or hospitality experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Interest in food, culture, community events, or fine dining experiences

• Comfortable working in an intimate home-dining environment

• Ability to multitask and remain organized during service

• Warm, professional, and community-oriented demeanor

Compensation

Paid hourly depending on experience, plus meal provided during or after service.
