This role bridges engineering disciplines to ensure system performance and scalability as AeroVect continues to develop its autonomous solutions.You WillWork with the Head of Systems to:Drive the definition, evolution, verification, and deployment of dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous vehicle architecture in the airport driving environmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align on a cohesive strategy for architecture and integrationArchitect solutions for scalability and usability, ensuring robust performance in time- and safety- critical production operationsOversee E2E system integration, collaborating to identify and resolve architectural issuesLead design reviews and design trade-off analysesHelp to:Translate key stakeholder needs into tiered system requirementsDefine and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performanceSupport FMEA analyses and risk assessmentsMentor engineers in system-level thinking and interface designYou HaveBS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying complex, integrated systems with safety-critical componentsStrong knowledge of embedded systems and integrationDemonstrated experience with system documentation, including requirements, architecture and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions across all levels of the organizationHands-on approach with a willingness to engage deeply and enjoy the work in a fast-paced startup environment with distributed, multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong organizational and analytical thinking abilitiesProximity to Atlanta, open to travel up to 25%We PreferMS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience developing and deploying autonomous vehicles, autonomous systems, robotics, or ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, etc.Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and networking protocolsFamiliarity with safety standards in the development and deployment of complex autonomous systems (including to ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ANSI B56.5, ISO3691, ANSI 15.08)Experience with safety in the context of aviation / airline and/or robotics applicationsFamiliarity with the airside driving environment at major global airportsExperience with cybersecurity (especially for automated vehicles)Experience with data science and statistical analysisLocated in or willingness to relocate to Atlanta#J-18808-Ljbffr
