Overview We are partnering with our California-based life sciences and medical manufacturing client in their search for a Regional Sales Manager to service current and prospective clients in the Northern California territory. This is an outside sales role working with clinical, laboratory, biotechnology and research organizations to sell innovative instruments and ancillary products that save lives and do genuine good in the world. In this role, you will leverage your experience in medical device sales to grow profitability and identify, educate and sign new clients. The goal is to place new instruments with new and existing clients, ensure education for client staff on instrument and ancillary product practices, and to drive long-term profitability and relationships with scientific teams.Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yrAdditional compensation types CommissionResponsibilities Sell innovative instruments and ancillary products to clinical, laboratory, biotechnology and research organizations, with the goal of placing large instruments with new clientsDevelop new client relationships across Northern California, leverage leads to identify opportunity, sign new business, and maintain long-term relationshipsManage a book of existing clients in Northern California, maintaining current business and driving growth and profitabilityTravel throughout Northern California to meet with clients, provide training and product education, and build relationships with stakeholdersCollaborate with regional, national and international partners to share expertise and maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledgeYour experience should include 3+ years of professional experience in medical device sales, ideally in life sciences or biotechnologyExperience selling to laboratories, healthcare organizations, research and/or pharmaceutical companiesExperience selling both instruments and ancillary products, nurturing long-term relationshipsBachelor's degree in a relevant field; life sciences preferredComfort with regional car travel and in-person meetings across the Bay Area, Sacramento and other Northern California markets (~80%)Benefits and compensation details: They offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance for the employee, life and disability coverage, 401(k), two weeks of PTO and paid sick time at CA rates. Commissions are uncapped; first-year OTE typically $150k-$180k depending on business mix and new clients signed.
