As a Senior Product Engineer on our Reporting team, you'll have a unique opportunity to build high‑quality, complex, industry‑defining applications for our reporting solution. The team is building from scratch with cutting‑edge technologies in a fast‑moving, creative, and progressive work environment, encouraging you to think outside the box and bring your vision, passion, and insights to drive advancements that impact both the team and the industry.

Impact You Will Have

  • Contribute design skills and technical expertise to a team where design, strategy, and engineering collaborate closely
  • Engage in the entire software development process, from requirements gathering and design reviews to implementing new reporting products or features
  • Shape a developing tech stack that leverages modern front‑end frameworks like React
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire product engineers responsible for delivering high‑performing, secure enterprise applications
  • Think creatively, take ownership of problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly throughout the process
  • Foster a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency

What We Look For

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years in a software engineering position with a history of architecting and designing new products and technologies
  • 5+ years of experience building web front ends using technologies such as React, Jest, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Kotlin, Java or Python
  • Strong understanding of the importance of automated testing at all levels
  • Willingness to learn about new technologies while simultaneously developing expertise in a business domain/problem space
  • Ability to manage short‑term deliverables while maintaining a long‑term, strategic perspective
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and effective communication abilities
  • Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus

  • Backend experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Background in investment or asset management
  • Knowledge of economics or finance

Compensation & Benefits

For New York and California based positions only, the typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is $168,000–$210,000. For other locations the range is $153,000–$191,000.

Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
