Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Operations Manager, this role will balance day to day responsibilities as well as automation projects to improve efficiencies. We are looking for an innovative team member who can think outside of the box to help streamline processes within the team.How you'll make an impactEnsure accurate and consistent application of company's ASC 606 policy via deal review and analyses for complex contracts as well as deal linkages and modificationsComplete all required month-end close activities including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reportingIdentify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition operationsMaintain and update internal documentation for revenue policies, procedures, and controlsPerform regular and special analysis to ensure proper contract processing and reportingWork with external auditors to provide support for annual auditWhat we're looking forBA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA preferred3+ years of accounting experience in the SaaS/Technology industry and/or public accounting firm. Revenue experience is a plusA proactive worker with integrity, accountability, excellent interpersonal skills, while also being a team player with an ability and willingness to identify areas to assist the team.A forward thinker who will see ideas through from beginning to end by providing recommendations, developing solutions, and putting them into practice.An effective communicator who can explain complex topics with ease, translating concepts across teams to drive alignment, and work seamlessly to implement solutions that achieve shared successProficient in Excel and Google WorkplaceNetsuite or Salesforce experience is a plusExperience with analytics, automation, or AI is a plus (Claude, Alteryx, Domo)CompensationThe US total compensation range for this full-time position is $111,733 - $155,467 (inclusive of salary + equity). Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training.
