Job Title: SAP Finance Consultant

Location: Remote (Milestone-based travel to California – Expenses Paid)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance Consultant to support strategic initiatives, including SAP Finance roadmap planning, implementation, and operational alignment within a Pharma/Life Sciences environment

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in SAP Finance along with proven experience in ERP transformation and migration projects (e.g., Oracle/QuickBooks to SAP). This is a strategic role requiring both functional leadership and hands-on expertise

Key Responsibilities

• Support and define SAP Finance strategy and roadmap for enterprise implementation
• Lead and contribute to ERP transformation and migration initiatives
• Analyze existing financial systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks) and design SAP-based solutions
• Drive end-to-end SAP Finance implementations, including configuration and integration
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Ensure alignment of SAP Finance processes with business operations and compliance standards
• Provide guidance on best practices in financial systems and SAP architecture
• Support post-implementation operations, enhancements, and optimization
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Compliance)
• Travel to client location (California) for key milestones and workshops

Required Skills & Experience

• 18+ years of overall IT experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• Proven experience in Pharma / Life Sciences / Biotech domain(within the last 5 years)
• Strong experience in ERP migration projects
• Oracle ? SAP
• QuickBooks ? SAP
• or similar transformations
• Deep understanding of financial processes, accounting, and compliance
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Gilead or similar large Pharma clients
• Exposure to S/4HANA transformation projects
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in Life Sciences
• Strong consulting and advisory experience
