A fast‑growing, technology‑led data center platform operating at the forefront of AI and high‑performance compute infrastructure is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale its global data center operations function.

The Role

As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of a rapidly expanding data center portfolio supporting AI and GPU‑dense workloads. You will play a critical role in establishing operational strategy, scaling teams and processes, and ensuring world‑class uptime, reliability, and efficiency.

This is a senior leadership role with direct influence over growth, operational excellence, and client delivery in a high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall data center operations across multiple sites and regions
• Define and execute operational strategy aligned with rapid platform growth
• Build, lead, and scale site operations and facilities teams
• Ensure best‑in‑class uptime, availability, and resilience for high‑density environments
• Oversee power, cooling, capacity planning, and operational readiness
• Establish and refine SOPs, KPIs, and operational governance
• Manage vendor relationships and third‑party service partners
• Collaborate closely with engineering, real estate, and executive leadership
• Support customer onboarding and operational integration for AI workloads

Required Experience

• Proven experience in a Director‑level (or senior operations leadership) role within data centers, critical infrastructure, or HPC environments
• Strong background in hyperscale, colocation, or owner/operator platforms
• Experience supporting high‑density, GPU‑heavy, or AI‑driven environments highly desirable
• Deep understanding of mission‑critical operations, M&E systems, and capacity planning
• Track record of scaling operations in fast‑growth or startup environments
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness
