Due to continued growth, TRC Field Services (FSV) is seeking Construction Specialists to support our Northern California(CA) Client Teams. With a staff of over two hundred, FSV delivers comprehensive, cost-effective Construction Management and Testing & Commissioning Service solutions safely to our Utility Customers while providing the best training programs and mentors in this industry and numerous opportunities for growth with excellent benefits.

TRC is currently seeking a Construction Specialist in Northern CA. The Construction Specialist is committed to making certain that the project moves smoothly, ensuring teamwork, efficiency and clear communication with project team members including Contractors, Agencies and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work Authorization Tracking and Communication:
    • Send Email Responses - to vendors
    • Monitor work authorization statuses and expiration dates.
    • Send timely email notifications to relevant stakeholders regarding change orders or updates.
  • Invoice Submittals and Reviews:
    • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before approval
  • CS to assist with Quantities:
    • Provide Guidance to Contract vendors on approval and submitting
    • Track invoice approvals and follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using Excel and Power BI.
    • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
    • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems.
    • Automate data processes and reporting workflows where possible.
    • Regularly update project-related data and ensure timely reporting.
    • Assist with compiling data for audits and performance reviews.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and relevance.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving:
    • Interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
    • Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
    • Support decision-making by providing data-backed insights and forecast

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

5+ years of construction experience, supervisory experience a plus

Knowledge and experience with the following: equipment used for inspection, surveying, and construction office engineering management

Computers, computer applications, and computer software programs in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $104,000.00 - USD $135,200.00 /Yr.
