Responsibilities:
Management and handling of assigned cases from start to finish including initial reports through to trial preparation and planning.
Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings and motions.
Draft and respond to discovery.
Take and defend depositions.
Prepare for and attend hearings and court appearances as needed.
Analyze claims and provide carrier with interpretive evaluation.
Draft detailed comprehensive status reports to carriers/clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years years of practice/California bar admission
Team player but has ability to work independently as well
Experience with Microsoft-based computer programs
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience with entering billing time and descriptions for all billable work
