A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist (Temp).Key Responsibilities:Manage and prioritize incoming behavioral health authorization and inpatient admission requestsVerify member eligibility and enter required data into the Jiva system accuratelyCommunicate with healthcare providers for necessary clinical information and notify them of authorization decisionsRequired Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Social Work, or related area, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare office or related fieldKnowledge of medical terminology preferredFamiliarity with healthcare databases such as Jiva or FACETS is desirablePre-employment background check required
