As Senior Manager, FP&A , you'll play a critical role in bringing this mission to life by providing the financial clarity, rigor, and insight that support smart decision-making as we scale.You'll work closely with the Head of Finance to take ownership of the company's core financial models, lead budgeting and forecasting, partner with Accounting through monthly close, and help build foundational FP&A processes that will be critical as we scale. This role sits at the intersection of traditional FP&A execution and strategic finance, requiring both strong fundamentals and the ability to operate in ambiguity.This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role ideal for someone with 6+ years of experience , including prior investment banking experience followed by FP&A or strategic finance experience at a high-growth technology company .Outcomes In your first 3–6 months, success in this role looks like:You've taken ownership of the company's core financial models and improved them for scalability, clarity, and decision-makingBudgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes are running smoothly, accurately, and on a predictable cadenceMonthly close is well-coordinated with Accounting, with clear alignment between actuals, forecasts, and key metricsLeadership has clear, actionable visibility into financial performance, drivers, and variancesCross-functional partners view you as a trusted, reliable finance partnerYou've defined and documented core FP&A processesResponsibilities As Senior Manager, FP&A, you'll play a hands-on role in owning core financial processes while supporting strategic decision-making across the company. You'll:Own and evolve budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes in close partnership with the Head of FinanceBuild, maintain, and refine the company's core financial modelsPartner closely with Accounting to support monthly close, ensure data integrity, and maintain alignment between actuals and forecastsLead monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights for leadershipWork cross-functionally with leaders across Operations, Product, Marketing, and People to evaluate performance and support planningSupport strategic initiatives through financial analysis, scenario modeling, and business case development, and translate analyses into clear recommendations for executive audiencesHelp define and track key financial and operational metrics that tie performance to underlying business driversImprove FP&A processes, documentation, and tooling to support scale and reduce manual effortHelp shape the future structure and processes of the FP&A function as the company growsQualifications We're looking for a finance powerhouse who combines analytical rigor with business judgment and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. The ideal candidate has:6+ years of experience in finance , including prior investment banking experience and subsequent FP&A or strategic finance experience at a high-growth technology companyStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial statementsDeep familiarity with traditional FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and planningComfort building processes and energy for turning ambiguity into structureStrong communication skills and the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, decision-ready insightsA high ownership mindset, attention to detail, and strong follow-throughComfort working cross-functionally and partnering with senior stakeholdersBias toward action and comfort operating in a dynamic, scaling environmentBonus Points Prior exposure to board or investor reportingExperience building or scaling FP&A processes in an early-stage or pre-IPO environmentAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with FP&A tools or BI platformsOur Benefits At Kindred, we know that good things happen when we look out for one another.
