Associate Attorney

Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious attorney to join a successful civil litigation firm in San Francisco, California. Willing to train junior attorneys, or bring on skilled PI litigators looking for a better opportunity!


Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated in court.

• Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

• Manage discovery processes, including reviewing and analyzing relevant evidence.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials to present and defend client positions.

• Maintain clear and precise communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress.

• Ensure compliance with legal procedures, deadlines, and court requirements.

• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to support the overall success of the firm.

• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to civil litigation.


Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of California.

• 0-5+ years of experience practicing law, with a preference for experience in personal injury cases.

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and colleagues.

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career as a trial lawyer
