What This Role Is

DevRev is looking for a sharp, technically grounded Enterprise Sales Engineer to join their sales team. This isn't a role for someone who just runs demos. You'll be the person in the room who actually understands how things work — and can translate that into real value for enterprise customers.

You'll partner closely with Account Executives, dig into customer environments, and design solutions that fit. You're comfortable going deep on APIs, integrations, and cloud architecture, and just as comfortable presenting to a CTO or a VP of Engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Running tailored demos and proofs of concept that speak to each customer's specific environment and pain points
  • Partnering with AEs on discovery, solution design, and deal strategy
  • Handling technical deep dives, RFP/RFI responses, and architecture conversations
  • Building trust with customers as their go-to technical advisor — from first call through handoff to Customer Success
  • Working directly with Product and Engineering when deals need custom solutions or integrations
  • Contributing to playbooks, demo assets, and competitive intelligence that make the whole team sharper
  • Occasionally leading workshops, bootcamps, or co-created service offerings with partners

What We're Looking For

You've got 5+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS Sales/Solutions Engineering under your belt. You know how to run a technical evaluation, handle a tough Q&A, and move deals forward without losing the customer's trust.

More specifically:

  • Strong hands-on technical chops — APIs, webhooks, integrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). You've used Postman. You know your way around a modern SaaS stack.
  • Real familiarity with LLMs, GenAI, and agentic AI — not just buzzword-level, but enough to have real conversations about how it works and where it fits.
  • Experience with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Augment Code is a genuine plus.
  • You've worked with enterprise sales methodologies — MEDDICC, Command of the Message, or similar.
  • You're a strong communicator. You can whiteboard with engineers and present to the C-suite in the same day.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel

Ecosystem experience matters here. DevRev integrates across a broad enterprise stack. Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with at least 3 of these:

-CRM/Support:Salesforce Sales Cloud, HubSpot, Zoho, Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Freshdesk, Intercom, Microsoft Dynamics, Monday

-Service Desk:ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management

-DevOps:Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps

-Documentation:SharePoint, OneDrive, Notion, Google Drive

-Data:Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent real-world experience.
