Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Production Operator to work on-site with our client, a top-tier sustainable food production company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations (i.e. proper PPE usage and safe operating practices)
• Adhere to all GMPs (good manufacturing practices) and internal quality standards
• Perform safety checks on all equipment to ensure safe operating conditions, escalate any deviations as necessary
• Perform quality checks on all equipment to guarantee product meets specification, escalate any deviations as necessary
• Operate equipment to include:
  • Perform machine setups (assembly, calibration etc.)
  • Control and adjust the functions and settings of machines
  • Troubleshoot minor machine stoppages
  • Load materials
  • Palletize finished goods
  • Ensure regular, preventative maintenance procedures are completed
  • Perform minor sanitation operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to work in cold, refrigerated environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand during duration of shift
• Able to use tools to perform repetitive actions during duration of shift
• Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with team members and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience working in production environment
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
  • Packaging good manufacturing experience
  • Food manufacturing background
