Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Previous experience in an imaging or interventional radiology setting preferred
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety measures
• Familiarity with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IR equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Typical Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to optimal safety standards
• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Support physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and assisting as needed
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure images meet facility quality standards
• Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and imaging details
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility protocols including infection control and privacy policies
