Location: Hybrid (San Francisco) or Remote (New York, with regular travel)

Salary: £130,000–£165,000 base + bonus (OTE £200,000–£260,000+) + equity


The Opportunity

A high-growth, venture-backed AI business operating within the healthcare sector is seeking its first Principal, Strategic Partnerships (Private Equity) hire.

This is a rare opportunity to build a 0→1 growth channel at the intersection of private equity, healthcare, and AI, working directly with founders and senior leadership. The business has achieved exceptional traction to date, with rapid revenue growth, strong product-market fit, and significant recent investment.

You will own and scale relationships with leading private equity firms, unlocking access to their portfolio companies and building a repeatable partnerships engine.


The Role

This is a highly commercial, externally facing role combining elements of enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and operator-led growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing relationships with healthcare-focused private equity firms, including partners and operating teams
  • Positioning the company as a strategic partner across portfolio companies
  • Generating pipeline through warm introductions and portfolio-wide partnerships
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to convert opportunities into revenue
  • Leading cross-functional coordination across sales, product, and leadership
  • Developing a scalable go-to-market playbook for private equity partnerships


About You

You will be a senior, credible operator with a strong blend of healthcare and private equity exposure, capable of engaging at C-suite level.

Ideal background:

  • 8–15 years' experience in private equity, healthcare strategy/consulting, or partnerships
  • Experience working with or within tier-one PE firms (e.g. KKR, Bain Capital, Carlyle, TPG, etc.)
  • Proven track record of building partnerships that drive revenue
  • Experience creating or scaling a function from 0→1 in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to generate and qualify pipeline
  • Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and stakeholder management
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferredWhy Join?
