Staff Robotics Engineer | Bay area (4 days on-site) | $200,000 to $220,000 + Equity

We're looking for a Staff Robotics Software Engineerto design and build the core systems behind a growing autonomous robotics platform. You will play a key role in connecting robots, cloud infrastructure, and mission control systems so fleets can operate reliably in the field.

This is a hands on opportunity to shape how autonomous systems are deployed, managed, and scaled.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build systems for device management, mission orchestration, and fleet coordination
• Develop software that enables seamless communication between robots and cloud platforms
• Create scalable infrastructure for real time monitoring and control
• Improve system performance, reliability, and resilience
• Collaborate with cross functional teams across hardware and software
• Contribute to system architecture, APIs, and documentation

Experience required:

• 6+ years of experience in robotics or distributed systems development
• Strong skills in C++ and Python
• Experience with ROS or ROS2
• Familiarity with cloud services, Docker, and CI CD pipelines
• Proven ability to build reliable, scalable production systems
• Strong problem solving skills and a collaborative mindset
