Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on company and client aircraft while strictly adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. This role is critical in ensuring aircraft airworthiness andthe safety of team members, customers, and passengers.
Technicians inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft components including engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. They diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, repair or replace defective parts, and test aircraft systems to ensure proper operation.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate maintenance records, documenting discrepancies and corrective actions, and signing mechanical flight releases. Technicians may also repair sheet metal or composite structures and rely on pilot reports to identify and resolve equipment issues.
