Compensation: $400k–$600k + equity

Location: San Francisco (in-person)

Our client is building the evaluation layer for frontier AI — simulated worlds and real-world challenges designed to understand and shape how the next generation of AI systems actually behave. About the Role

As MTS, you'll work directly with the founding team on the core product. This is a generalist technical role for someone who can move fluidly between research, engineering, and deployment — and wants to own real problems end-to-end from day one.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship core product features across the stack


• Work across ML, systems, and infrastructure depending on what the problem demands


• Collaborate directly with founders on technical architecture and product direction


• Own problems end-to-end: from design through deployment and iteration


• Move fast — this is an early-stage team where everyone is a builder

What We're Looking For

• Strong engineering fundamentals — you can go deep on systems, ML, or product engineering


• Track record of shipping in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments


• Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous problem-solving


• Genuine interest in AI evaluation, simulation, or autonomous systems


• Prior startup experience (founding or early-stage) preferred
