Job Title: Compliance and Risk Administrative Assistant

Location: Hybrid in SF (2 days in-office / 3 days remote)

Compensation: 100-140k + bonus + benefits

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created, high-impact role supporting the Chief Compliance Officer while helping shape the operational backbone of a fantastic Compliance and Risk team. This is a chance to act as a strategic partner, bringing structure, foresight, and cohesion to a fast-moving, intellectually rigorous environment. The right candidate will play a critical role in building processes, driving efficiency, and elevating how the team operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendaring and scheduling for the CCO, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is optimized
  • Coordinate team meetings, communications, and cross-functional touchpoints to maintain alignment and momentum
  • Own and streamline the annual compliance manual review process, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Lead logistics and execution of the annual compliance meeting, including end-to-end coordination
  • Act as a central hub for team operations, ensuring seamless communication and workflow across a distributed team
  • Support light travel coordination, primarily for conferences and key events
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist in onboarding and supporting team adoption of new technologies, including emerging AI tools

Ideal Background

  • Minimum 8 years experience supporting C-suite executives in a professional services environment, ideally asset management, financial services, or legal environments
  • Prior exposure to Legal or Compliance teams is required
  • Strong ability to "manage up" and operate as a proactive, strategic partner
  • Demonstrated success building or improving administrative processes and workflows
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and coordinate across diverse stakeholders
  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • A 4-year college degree is required
