A company is looking for an Access Network Engineer responsible for the architecture, deployment, and operational support of fiber access networks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and support GPON and XGS-PON access network architecturesTroubleshoot service impairments and perform root cause analysis for subscriber impacting issuesIntegrate PON infrastructure with subscriber management platforms and support service activation workflowsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience supporting fiber broadband access networksHands-on experience with carrier-grade PON platformsStrong understanding of PON technologies, including GPON and XGS-PONExperience with scripting languages such as Python or BashFamiliarity with optical network design and fiber outside plant architecture
