About the Role

A highly successful AI company is seeking an exceptional Executive Business Partner to serve as a true extension of the CTO in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment. Strategic Partnership

  • Act as a proxy for the CTO in internal and cross-functional discussions
  • Drive alignment across engineering, product, and leadership teams
  • Anticipate needs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively remove obstacles
  • Own and optimize the CTO's time—ensuring focus on highest-impact priorities
  • Lead critical initiatives and special projects end-to-end
  • Collaborate deeply with internal teams to maintain speed and execution quality
  • Lead the CTO's external presence and thought leadership, including building relationships with industry leaders, managing executive communications, etc.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage and optimize a highly dynamic calendar with precision
  • Strategically schedule deep work blocks
  • Coordinate across time zones and late-night engineering schedules, especially during launches
  • Ensure rapid response times

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in a fast-paced startup environment supporting a C-level leader
  • Strong technical acumen; ability to engage with engineering concepts and workflows
  • Proven experience operating in fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
  • Ability to think several steps ahead and make decisions independently
  • High ownership mentality—nothing falls through the cracks
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to operate with a 24/7 mindset
  • Availability for 10–20% travel
