We're hiring a Clinical Engineering Supervisor to support our onsite team at Alameda Health System in Oakland, CA. In this leadership role, you'll guide a team of biomedical technicians while ensuring safe, reliable medical technology that directly supports patient care.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Biomed professionals—hiring, coaching, performance management, and daily workflow oversight.
• Manage daily equipment repair assignments and ensure high-quality preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Evaluate equipment issues and perform hands-on repairs with minimal supervision.
• Train staff on equipment operation, technical repair skills, QA processes, and documentation.
• Support equipment evaluations and recommend improvements for safety and compliance.
• Maintain documentation, files, and inventory accuracy.
• Promote a safe patient environment through hazard identification and medical device reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clinical partners and ensure clear communication.
• Split your time: 50% supervisory / 50% technical work
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

What You Bring

• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience servicing clinical/biomedical equipment.
• Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical equipment usage.
• Ability to read schematics, interpret regulations, and use standard test equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and customer-focused.
• CBET certification preferred.
