Counsel - Civil Litigation - Chief of Staff

Our client is a major international firm, seeking a Counsel with 10+ years of civil litigation experience to serve as the chief of staff for a large docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters. The role involves managing operations for a team that is litigating hundreds of dispute matters for a large technology client. The salary range for this position is between $250k to $450k and is open in New York, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Washington, DC, Austin, Houston, Miami, Northern and Southern California, and Seattle. This is a non-partner track position.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in litigating complex civil cases, as well as interacting with clients and managing teams.
  • Experience in docket and case and deadline management.
  • Solid proficiency in litigation management platforms, Excel, and AI tools.
  • Experience with legal technology, including ideally generative AI.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; highly motivated.
  • Leadership with strong client-facing skills.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
