· Must be on site at Foster City office at least 3 days per week

Required Experience

Project Manager with clinical development exp with phase 1-3 of clinical trials and biomarker exp would be beneficial .Need candidates who worked on late stages of clinical trials exp.

Job Description

The Position

The Research Strategy, Innovation & Portfolio Management group is seeking a talented and highly motivated project manager to manage coordination and progression of scientific research projects in a highly collaborative environment and cross-functional matrix. The candidate will efficiently interact with multiple stakeholders representing multiple functions within the company to drive research projects forward to clinical development.

Essential Responsibilities

· Responsible for starting up or managing the research-based development sub teams.

· May help manage teams that are preparing to present their molecule at governance meeting for clinical development.

· Experience working effectively with cross-functional project teams to build and develop the team, diagnose team health and taking action to address team issues.

· Ability to organize new cross-functional project teams, define objectives and scope, identify tasks and milestones, build project schedules, identify resource needs, track execution to schedule, and manage risks.

· Experience and ability in successfully managing multiple cross-functional tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree with 7+ years, MS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, which includes experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a functional area scientist or project manager.

· Direct experience or strong foundation in drug development process is preferred.

· Experience should include participation in cross-functional project team activities.

· Self-motivated, resourceful, high technical competence and process-oriented.

· Clear and effective communication.

· Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams) and Zoom.
