This role offers interim leadership coverage during an eight‑month personal leave.The Finance team includes a Controller, two Senior Accountants, and an A/P Accountant. We embrace open‑book management principles, transparency, and collaboration.ResponsibilitiesSupport Heath's overall financial health by managing cash flow, monitoring profitability, tracking key KPIs, and proactively identifying risks or variances so leaders can make informed business decisionsLead the day‑to‑day work of the Finance team by setting priorities, providing guidance, and ensuring continuity across core accounting and finance activities so the team can operate effectively during the interim periodProvide financial planning and analysis support by maintaining existing models and conducting scenario analysis as needed so leadership has practical insights for planning and decision makingSupport and maintain core finance systems, including NetSuite, by resolving critical issues and addressing necessary improvements so financial operations remain accurate and efficientManage and execute company‑wide quarterly forecast cycles by partnering with more than 20 budget owners so Heath can maintain timely, coordinated financial planning across functionsTrack budget performance by monitoring actual results against plan and preparing clear monthly financial reporting so leaders understand performance and can respond appropriatelySupport financial transparency and understanding across the business by contributing to regular reporting and internal education or communication as appropriate so teams better understand Heath's financial performance and core economic driversMaintain effective relationships with external partners by ensuring responsiveness and follow‑through so finance operations and business support remain stable throughout the assignmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of FP&A experience in a manufacturing and retail environment5+ years of financial leadership experienceCPA not required, but strong accounting leadership experience is highly valuableNetSuite expertise requiredExperience with Google Suite including Google SheetsExperience with Shopify, Avalara, Asana, and Versapay preferredStrong knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting methodsStrong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to strategize, problem‑solve, and respond quickly to changing needsStrong project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExceptional communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑finance teamsAbility to teach Heath's core economic drivers and how team actions influence themWork Environment / Hours / CompensationThis is a full‑time, temporary position supporting the Finance team during a planned leave (approximately 7 months). While we offer a hybrid work model, time spent working together in person is an important part of how we collaborate.
