Description - Your Mission Awaits
- Conduct a range of routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests in various specialties such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
- Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Assist with specimen collection, and prepare samples for laboratory analysis when required.
- Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, aid in training new staff or interns, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
- Foster a clean, safe work environment while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, along with ASCP/AMT certification or preparation.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
- Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your employment is required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to independently make sound judgments and solve problems in high-pressure environments.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding quality control protocols and accurate documentation.
