Highly reputable boutique law firm in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic team. The firm seeks a candidate with 6+ years of solid family law litigation experience from a reputable firm in California. Individuals will be required to bein the San Francisco area; however, they will be able to work remotely. Individuals must have handled medium-high asset cases and have solid personal values to blend with the firm culture. Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance to clients on various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, and domestic violence.
• Oversee and manage a caseload of family law cases, from initial consultation through resolution.
• Engage in negotiation processes to reach settlements and agreements that align with clients' best interests.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings, presenting arguments and advocating for favorable outcomes.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, petitions, agreements, and court filings.
• Interact with clients to understand their unique situations, explain legal options, and provide emotional support throughout the legal process.
• Facilitate mediation sessions to assist clients in reaching amicable resolutions in family law disputes.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and precedents to support legal arguments and strategies.
• Advocate for the best interests of children involved in family law cases, prioritizing their well-being.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to comprehensively address complex family law matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
• Proven experience as a family law attorney focusing on divorce, child custody, and related matters.
• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlements and agreements.
• Experience with prenup agreements is a definite plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective representation and client communication.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients facing emotionally charged family situations.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborative mindset with effective teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to family law cases' unique challenges and dynamics.

Salary:

$170,000 - $300,000, DOE

Additional information:

The firm's billable hours range from 1400 to 1500
