Founding Product Manager

Currently partnering with a high-growth, VC-backed Series A startup that has evolved from early traction into a multi-million ARR business and now entering their next stage of growth.

The company is building a cutting-edge, AI-native product powered by large language models, with a strong foundation in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based workflows.

With strong product-market fit established, they are now focused on scaling their core AI capabilities and expanding what their platform can do.

This is an opportunity to join as the first Senior Product Manager, owning the direction of AI-driven product development and helping define how intelligent agents are built, deployed and scaled within the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, product-minded and excited about shaping the next generation of AI-powered user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Own and drive product strategy for AI agents, LLM-powered features, and RAG systems
• Work closely with engineering to design and ship scalable, reliable LLM integrations and agent architectures
• Define and evolve how the product leverages retrieval, context management and orchestration layers
• Translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into real-world user value and intuitive product experiences
• Partner with engineering and research to explore prompting strategies, fine-tuning and tool use
• Establish product processes, metrics and best practices as the first PM in the organisation
• Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to continuously improve AI system performance
• Balance innovation and speed with scalability, reliability, and long-term architecture

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, within VC-backed startups or high-growth scale-ups
• Computer Science degree (or equivalent technical background)
• Strong technical fluency, comfortable working closely with engineers on LLMs, APIs and system architecture
• Experience working on AI/ML-powered products, ideally involving LLMs, RAG or agent-based systems
• Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with high ownership
• Strong communication skills — able to bridge technical teams and end users
• Experience as an early or first PM is a strong plus

Nice to Have

• Experience building or scaling AI agents or autonomous workflows
• Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
